Ringwood Live  is closer than you think.

From Upstate New York

Follow the N.Y State Thruway (Rte 87) South to exit 15A
Take a right off the exit ramp and proceed to the stop sign.
Take a left on to Rte 59 North.
At the light (about a quarter mile) go straight.  You are now on Rte 17 North

Follow the Rte 17 North directions below from the (*)

From the Tappan Zee Bridge

Follow the N.Y State Thruway (Rte 87) North to exit 15A.
At the bottom of the ramp, take a left (this puts you on Rte 17 North.)
Now follow the Rte 17 North directions below from the (*).

From the Garden State Parkway

Take the Parkway North to Exit 165, Rte 17 North

Then follow the Rte 17 North directions below

From Rte 17 North
Stay on Rte 17 North into New York State where it merges into the Throughway (Rte 87 North)
Get off at the first exit (15A).
At the bottom of the ramp, take a left (this puts you back on Rte 17 North.)

(*)Go a couple of miles until you see the sign for  Ringwood - West Milford – Sterling Mine Road.  Take this
right hand exit.  (It is directly across from Auntie El’s plant nursery.)

(If you miss this you will go into the town of Sloatsburg, so turn around.) 
Stay on Sterling Mine Rd.  (keep to the 30 speed limit in the short residential area).   Go straight for about 6 miles.
You will pass through one traffic light at the bottom of a long hill.

When you pass over the state line back into New Jersey, Sterling Mine Rd. becomes Sloatsburg Rd.
You will pass Ringwood Manor on the right, then Skylands Botanical Gardens on the left, then
Margaret King Avenue (with a sign to West Milford) on the right.

Take the next left on to Carltondale Rd.

  (If you pass a school on the left, turn around, you have just missed the road)
Hand Made Music, at The Community Presbyterian Church, is about 1/2 mile on right

From Rte 287 North/Rte 23 area
Take Rte 23 (North or South) to Rte 287 North,
From Rte 287 North, take the Skyline Drive exit (#57)

At exit ramp light, take a left and head up the hill (passing back under 287)

You are now on Skyline Drive. Follow the directions from  (**) below.

From the George Washington Bridge

After crossing the bridge, take Rte 4 West.   
Follow Rte 4 West (past the Paramus malls) until it splits off from Rte 208 

(Stay in the right lanes for Rte 208 NORTH towards Wyckoff, Oakland etc)

Stay on Rte 208 North straight through the merge with Rte. 287 South.
From 287 South take exit 57 (Skyline Drive -Ringwood).
Veer right on exit ramp to go up hill towards Ringwood.
(**) Take Skyline Drive up and over the hill (about 4 miles)
until you come to a stop sign.  Go straight through stop sign. 
About 200 yards after that the road ends.

Take right onto Greenwood Lake Turnpike (Rte 511 North).
Take the second right on to Sloatsburg Rd (about 2-3 miles).
From Sloatsburg Rd, drive until you see a school on your right
Take the right immediately after it (Carltondale Rd.)

   Ringwood Live, at The Community Presbyterian Church, is about 1/2 mile on right.
